Stark fabricates high-quality animal stretchers / carriers for both Marine and Non-Marine animals. Stark has worked collaboratively with hundreds of marine parks, institutions, zoos, aquariums and organizations around the world. Stark has over 30 years of combined experience in design and fabrication of these specialized products.

Stark animal stretchers / carriers are specialty tailored handling equipment for our customers in their task of transporting, handling, regular medical work and procedures for their animals. The animal’s safety & comfort is the upmost importance to Stark, which is why our focus is on the strength, customization and durability when manufacturing these products.

The most common styles of animal stretchers / carriers are listed below. Although, Stark can modify or make any adaptations to these designs to best fit your application. We may also assist in designing a completely new design from scratch per the needs and wants of their customer.

Dolphin Stretchers

Customizable sizes that tailor to each individually sized animal.

Pole pockets for insertable poles used for physical or mechanical hoist systems.

Manatee Stretchers

Manatee stretchers vary in size and are tailored to support larger and heavier animals ranging from calves to full-grown adults.

Optional add-on “gates” for support and positioning.
Multiple webbing lifting handles.
Insertable pole pockets.
Optional vinyl reinforcement in the center for additional durability.
Optional drain holes.

Turtle Stretchers

Standard

The standard stretcher has two velcro straps that support the turtle by overlapping velcro straps over the shell. These also have an opening for an insertable “backboard.” This is to provide support if the turtle has a cracked or damaged shell.

The Pouch

The pouch stretcher is designed to keep the turtle immobilized within transport.

The Round

The round stretcher is designed to position the turtle in the center with support handles around the perimeter.

Shark Stretchers

Stark offers a variety of shark stretchers to fit their client’s needs and usage.

Shark Bladder Transport Stretcher

These stretchers are designed for the transportation or handling of sharks while still holding water inside of them for the well-being of the shark.

Standard Shark stretcher

This type of stretcher is similar to a manatee stretcher, although it has sinched ends for additional support of the shark.

Terrestrial / Land Animal Stretchers

Stark can custom-make any size and adaptation to fit your type of animal. Our terrestrial / land animal stretchers are equipped with numerous handle hold loops for transportation of the animal. These stretchers have been manufactured to support small, medium & large land / terrestrial animals, such as:

Fish Stretchers

Stark’s fish stretchers are designed to support wide variety of fish ranging from small, medium to large sized fish. These stretchers include optional nose and tail pockets on the front and rear to support the fish. They also can include sinched ends and lifting webbing handles. They are equipped with a sinch that can be tightened and loosened. Stark can customize any of these stretchers to the specs and sizes of your fish. Common types of fish stretchers include:

Tri-Fold Dolphin Mat

The tri-fold dolphin mat is a multi-functional handling equipment. Specialty designed to expand to be a flat mat, which creates an easy landing surface for a dolphin. Once the dolphin is positioned into the center of the mat. The two sides can fold together to support the animal on both sides. Finally, removable end caps can be installed to create a fully enclosed transport. Multiple lifting handles are equipped throughout the Mat.
